Collection: Overwintered Bee Nucs South Wales – Spring 2027
Reserve an overwintered bee nuc for Spring 2027, locally managed by Newton Honey in Porthcawl, South Wales.
Our established nucleus colonies are prepared to give beekeepers a strong start to the season. Each nuc is supplied on six National frames with a 2026 Buckfast laying queen, brood at different stages, food stores and a healthy population of worker bees.

Every colony is managed through winter and assessed as spring develops. Your bees will be supplied in a ventilated Correx transport box, ready for collection and transfer into a suitable National hive.

We expect nucs to be ready for collection by 31 May 2027. Exact dates depend on spring weather, colony development and any statutory bee-health movement controls. We will contact each customer to arrange collection when their bees are ready.
Price, deposit and collection
The total price is £250. A £50 deposit is charged at checkout, with the remaining £200 charged on 1 March 2027 under the pre-order payment plan. These are live colonies and are available for collection only; they cannot be posted or shipped.
